Purchases, sync and study.
01What is free, and what do I pay for?
The full CIPP/E and CIPP/US study guides, the exam guides, the glossary, flashcards, the free ten-question diagnostic, the 25-question mini mock and the question of the day are free. The CIPP/E question bank and the CIPP/US question bank are two separate one-time in-app purchases. Each unlocks only its own exam. There is no subscription.
02I bought access on the website. Why is the app locked?
The app and the websites (cippe.humenhuk.com and cippu.humenhuk.com) are sold separately. A purchase on a website does not unlock the app, and a purchase in the app does not unlock a website. The app is bought through the App Store and the websites through their own checkout.
03A purchase is missing
Open Settings in the app (the gear icon) and tap Restore purchases while signed in to the Apple Account that made the purchase. Purchases are linked to that Apple Account and work on every iPhone and iPad signed in to it. If access is still missing, email support with the exam name and roughly when you bought it. Never send card details.
04How do I get a refund?
Apple handles payments and refunds for the App Store. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
05My progress is not on my other device
Progress syncs through your own iCloud. Check that both devices are signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud turned on. The app's own Settings shows iCloud sync as On or Off. Changes usually arrive within a few minutes while the app is open.
06The daily reminder does not arrive
Open Settings in the app and check that Daily reminder is on. If the app says notifications are off, tap the button there to open the Settings app and allow notifications for CIPP Prep.
07Is this an IAPP product?
No. CIPP Prep is an independent study guide with exam-style practice questions. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by IAPP, and it does not reproduce IAPP training material or live exam questions.
08I think an answer or a lesson is wrong
Email support with the exam, the lesson title or the first words of the question, and what you think is wrong. Corrections go into the next update of the app and the websites.
Your data
Your progress stays yours.
CIPP Prep has no account and no server. Your answers, saved items and dates are kept on your device and in your own iCloud. Settings in the app has a reset for each exam, which clears that exam's progress on all your devices. Deleting the app removes the copy on that device.
