Privacy policy · 25 September 2026

Your study progress belongs to you.

CIPP Prep has no account, no advertising, no analytics and no server. Your progress stays on your devices and in your own iCloud.

Who is responsible

The controller.

CIPP Prep is made by Victor Humenhuk (Joao Vitor Humenhuk Achutti), an Israeli sole trader at Allenby Street 38, Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel. He is the controller for the limited personal data described here. Write to studyguides@humenhuk.com.

What the app keeps

Study progress, on your device and in your iCloud.

The app stores which questions you answered and whether you were right, the lessons you read, the questions and lessons you saved, the terms you marked as known, your session results, your exam date, your daily goal and your reminder time. It is kept in a file on your device.

When iCloud is available, the same information is copied to your own iCloud key-value storage so it can appear on your other devices signed in to the same Apple Account. Apple stores it under Apple's own privacy policy. The developer cannot read it and has no server that receives it.

The study content, the glossary and the questions are part of the app. Reading them sends nothing anywhere.

Purchases

Apple handles payment.

The question banks are bought through the App Store. Apple processes the payment and tells the app only which products the Apple Account owns. The developer does not receive your name, email address or card details from a purchase and sees only Apple's aggregated sales reports.

Reminders and links

Local notifications and outside sources.

If you turn on the daily reminder, the app schedules it on your device through iOS. Nothing about the reminder leaves your device.

Lessons link to primary sources such as EUR-Lex, the FTC and state regulators. Those links open in your browser, and the site you visit handles your data under its own policy.

Support email

Only if you write.

If you email support, the developer receives your email address and whatever you choose to include. It is used to answer you and kept only as long as needed for that, for records of the correspondence, or where the law requires. The legal basis is the developer's legitimate interest in answering support requests.

Your control

Reset, delete and your rights.

Settings in the app has a reset for each exam, which clears that exam's progress on all your devices through iCloud. Deleting the app removes the copy on that device.

Depending on where you live, you have rights to access, correct and erase personal data, and to object to or restrict its use. Because the developer holds no study data about you, most requests are met by the controls above. For anything else, write to studyguides@humenhuk.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority. In Israel that is the Privacy Protection Authority. In the EU and UK it is the authority where you live or work.

Children and changes

For professional exam preparation.

CIPP Prep is made for adults preparing for professional certification and does not knowingly collect personal data from children. If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date.
